Hi! we are Samantha and Nicholas the people behind Burford bespoke. A husband and wife team with our workshop based in the beautiful village of Clanfield.

Nicholas is a fully indentured welder and fabricator having worked within the industry for over 30years, starting his journey as an apprentice back in 1989 and completing it in 1992.

Since then Nick has grown his own well established business within the engineering and welding/fabrication sector, he has completed many projects along the way from house and factory instillations to modifying display cars for the motorsport industry.

He has also completed many heritage commissions to reinstate architectural listed iron works having forged many of the items by hand. He is truly talented and can turn his hand to any kind of metal work and has created many wonderful pieces over the years. I don't like to brag, but there really is no end to this incredible mans talents.

As for myself I have had a wonderful career with in the care sector starting out within the domiciliary sector and qualifying in Dementia and Alzheimers. In 2015 I decided to change careers to work part time within my life long passion of horses, this has enabled me to have more time to dedicate myself to working alongside my husband and grow our own business Burford bespoke into what we know it can be.

They say that in life if you can do what you enjoy you, then you will never truly work a day in your life! 

It's safe to say that both Nick and I truly love and have such passion for what we do, that we feel lucky to be able to create wonderful gates that people can admire for years to come.
